VHI Company Plan Extra level 2 Excess renewal

Hi,

Its that time of year for myself. The above policy is up for renewal on 1/2/16. My employer pays the premium. Looking at HIA the current cost is €1531, and I believe there is a 10% discount due to it being a group policy.

I dont believe we can avail of another provider, but I foresee usage of VHI's homecare and I think no other provider provides an equivalent?

So would be appreciate any feedback on potential better alternatives (ie a modest increase in premium to get a bigger benefits or a switch at a similar premium with better benefits).

Hi suzie,

The following 2 alternative VHI plans have identical cover as your current plan. One has a lower excess 75 per private/hi-tech admission or day case and slightly cheaper, the second option has no excess and is slightly dearer in price. Outpatient cover identical.
1. Plan PMI 25 11; price 1502pa
2. Plan PMI 38 14; price 1598pa
