Presently looking for a commercial premises. Will be meeting potential landlords over the next no. of weeks.

Can someone explain how a break clauses & rent free periods work in commercial leases as I am fairly new to all this.

What price per sq./ft is currently reasonable ?

Reasonable depends on location, location and location. Are you looking at industrial units or high-street retail and what part of the country are you looking at?

Business is rated as light industrial so Industrial Unit needed. Looking to base in Kerry/Nth. Cork/West Limerick area.

Just wanted to be as aut fait as possible with options before meeting landlords. Giving consideration to buying a site but will need to take a short lease - 12 to 24 mths first.
