Can someone please give me any information on this. We have ,4 weeks ago signed contracts of a sale and a purchase, we were given a closing date of last week, 3 days before this my solicitor phoned to say that there was a hold up and we could not close, that along the chain of purchasers someones funds weren't ready. They cannot still confirm a closing date. Is this a breach of contract ??is there anything we can do??? Our new house is ready to move into but we need the profit of our sale to put into our new house.
