How would you clean a washable internal doormat that is too big for washing machine. I know it can be shaken etc but would prefer to wash it
Would [broken link removed] do it and would i get a cheaper one in say tesco

A bucket of hot water, scrubbing brush and elbow grease would be a lot cheaper.

I bought a steam cleaner in Aldi some years ago but it was useless so I brought it back.

hang it over a gate and use a power washer. best to do this type of job in the summer when you can dry the mat outside.

This has beaten us too. We transfer the internal one to outside the back door, then side door, then eventually bin it.
If its a coir mat the magpies will strip it at nesting time so I suppose it gets recycled. We pick up our mats in Tescos, Woodies etc for circa €7.
