Anomaly in relation to clawback to be removed
A new Incremental Purchase Scheme to be introduced

Two major parts of new housing Bill

Affordable Housing mortgage holders will now be able to change mortgage provider or top up their existing mortgage without paying
The Bill will amend the law to “enable owners of affordable housing, with the agreement of lenders, to re-finance or top-up their existing mortgage loans, without triggering the payment of the clawback charge”, the clawback.

Think Shared Ownership Scheme is gone. No mention of it in new Bill, just an incremental purchase scheme for council tenants and potential tenants.

This is a disgrace what about all the affordable housing applicants that do not qualify for a convential mortgage or social housing.

Left out again!

Can the new housing bill be read online at what url?
When does the bill become active?
