Civil Service: When is the next round of exams for Clerical Officers?

Anyone know when the next round of exams take place for Clerical Officers.

of course with all the cutbacks each dept has to make it may be a while before any recruiting is done

I'd say it will be a while - many departments have had their authorised staff numbers cut which means a lot of people will have to go before there's any recruitment.

Agreed- I took part in a recent round of exams for clerical officer positions in the SE region (in August) and was informed in Sept that they would not be able to go forward with any recruitment, nor were they even forming a panel from the candidates who sat the exams.

Keep an eye on publicjobs.ie though, I've seen a few roles pop up based in Dublin (eg temp clerical officer for pensions board, applications due in by today).
