CID Adjudication DES

Im waiting on a CID appeal from the adjudication section of the DES. Has anyone out there been through, or are currently going through something similiar.Would love to hear from you.:)
 
Am I been shafted by the Vec??

Hi I have a few queries concerning my eligibility for a CID.....

I have worked at a local Vec youthreach on a part time contract for the past 4 years. Recently I have been reviewed for a CID were I have been told that i have been covering parental leave for the past 4 years therefore I'm not entitled to a CID. During this review I was also informed that my contract may come to an end in December. Over the past seven months I am aware that no parental leave has been taken by any of the staff, yet my normal hours were still given to me. In fact earlier this year i was off on maternity leave and was covered by another person . I am the only teacher delivering the subject I teach.

Basically I would like some advise on whether or not i am entitled to a CID????
 
Your contract should state that there are objective grounds, ie. parental leave, for not giving u a CID!
