Changing Bulbs on Mazda 6

I need to change both my low beam bulbs on a Mazda 6. However, when I had a look at the manual it said that low beam bulbs must be done by an authorised dealer, but the others you can do yourself.
Has anyone managed to change these themselves and if so, was it difficult? They do look to be tucked away in the very corner of the engine. I'm sure an authorised dealer would charge a nice fee for doing this for me.

I think I saw that Halfords in Liffey Valley fit car bulbs for about an extra €5 when you buy the bulbs there.

Be careful changing low beam bulbs. Usually halogen type and if you touch the glass they will fail very quickly due to moisture from your finger. In some cars with fiddly positioning of these bulbs it can be very difficult to avoid this if you are not used to doing it. Most of the other bulbs in the car indicator brake light etc. are normal bulbs which can be touched without difficulty.
