Change my Accountant

Hi,
I am from north Louth, I am thinking about changing my long standing accountant, who I feel is not giving me the right advice, and seems only interested in steering me into avenues that is going to generate more revenue for his firm.
Is there much involved, or can anyone recommend a good firm of accountants in this area.

Can't help on recommendations in your part of the country but there is no problem changing if that is what you want. The incoming accountant writes to the outgoing accountant for certain standard information and for what is called professional clearance, you make sure any outstanding fees are paid to the outgoing accountant and the new accountant takes up from there.
 
We use KMR in Dundalk. Very good company. pm me if you need any further info.
