Hi All,

Apologies for the multiple questions on here. We bought in haste in 2005 and are determined to take a more measure approach this time and assess all our options clearly.
So, a lot of institutions are offering a 2% cash back offer for new mortgages. We have a tracker with AIB so had thought we should stick with them, maybe the cash back is a better offer though? Can anyone crunch some numbers for me or assist in thinking this through?

Current Mortgage €160k
Rate 0.75%
New Mortgage
€155k @ SVR
Plus old mortgage @
€160k 1.75%
Over 25 years?
Cash Back approx. €6300.
