Can anyone recommend a user friendly HDD camcorder?

Am looking to buy a HDD camcorder, but don't really have a clue what I should be looking out for, I want one that is really easy to use and connect to comp to get the footage onto a dvd disc easy enough.

I am in the same boat - have been hours looking on line but getting bogged down. Panasonic HDD looks good but anyone have any recommends?

saw that ibood - a bit confused about the fact that it only refers to burning onto the now defunct HD-DVD. Surely the footage can be output onto a bluray recorder attached to it? As regards burning onto DVD-R it says it converts the footage to standard definition.

I used JVC Evario for 3 years now - I'd have handled it very roughly over these times... go for it, its quiet good!
