Hello

I have been employed by contract for a uk / german marketing company and my contract which has been in writing for over 2 years has been cancelled by phone from the uk office last week.

Should they give me notice in writing to cancel this contract as it does state either party needs to give 7 days notice to terminate the contract but as I only work 3 days per month that might not be important?

Any info would be welcome

Because of the nature of the job that I do, I would expect that I should have to get a written notice

Don't expect anthing now-all bets are off.

Refer to your contract.

It would have been a)courteous b)prudent of them to do it in writing but if the contract says 7 days without any reference to how then you are probably on a sticky wicket.
