buying bricks

Hi All,

I need to buy a small quantity of brick (about 100). My local Roadstone is closed on Sat and I can't make it today.

Is there anywhere in North Co. Dublin who sell bricks and are open on Sat.?

I need red brick... you know the scratchy kind that almost all houses in the 70's and 80's had! They used to tear the skin off your knuckles if you were against them while on your bike :)

Thanks!

Chadwicks in Glasnevin, Coolock or Finglas - they are open till 12.30 most branches, check website to be sure though

I need some bricks for garden edging. Would anyone have an idea of much bricks are? Even second hand would do fine.

Ironically, second hand bricks may cost more than new material- depending in the colour, age and quality! Expect to pay from about 50 cent upwards per brick, the cheapest way to buy them is by the bale (or pallet) of 500 units although this will probably yield too many for your requirements.
