Am looking into buying a second property. Seen one at a really good price in a location I love so am going to look into it.

Is 80% the absolute max any bank will give out?

Also how hard is it to secure a buy to let mortgage?

80% is the absolute max and you'll be doing well to get that much.

How hard is it? Impossible to say, all underwritten on a case by case basis.
