What are the alternatives to Eircom for business phone-lines and broadband.

Up to now I have persevered with Eircom because they own the lines. However, I think now is time for a change.

Also, can I take my fixed IP address with me if I sign up for broadband with somebody else?

Not likely - that belows to eircom - part of their bank of ip's.....but i'm sure you can just get another one from your next provider...or is there some specific reason you need the same one?
