Just wondering if anyone has recommendation for business insurance?

I run company from home and have recently started keeping stock there. House is rented and I have no content insurance on it as it is. I want to get this sorted but was told that I would need separate policy for the business end. It's not for much, just 5 grand of stock and a couple of laptops, I have very little to spend on this per month. Going to start ringing around on Monday but any recommendation welcome to help narrow down the list a bit!

Your best bet is to take out a package policy that throws in employers and public liability. No one will cover you purely for stock or laptops. It will also depend on your exact line of business. Some insurers will also likely refuse because of the type of premises you are operating from. Save your self making a number of phone calls. Call 2 brokers and have them look around for you.
