Hi All,

Looking for a bit of advice, I am looking to bring a couple of hurls away on holidays with me would I be right in saying I should put them in my check in bag Instead of hand luggage. Also has anyone flown into Bologna airport if so is it handy airport for car rental access.

A hurley unless it's a child's hurl would be longer than the dimensions allowed by most airlines for hold luggage I would have thought.

Bologna is a small enough airport, no idea for car rental access but i'd say the airport website or car hire companies would have that on their websites. It is a handy airport for getting to Bologna train station, short taxi or bus ride to the station.

Regardless of childs/ adults, they must be checked. Anything fitting the description of sporting bats or clubs are banned from carry-on under EU rules. Depending on the airline, you may need to use oversize luggage.
