Wrong forum Blinding for Driveway?

Looking at getting gravel for our driveway getting tired at looking at blue hardcore. Was told some time ago that you need to lay a 'blinding' first over the hardcore in a similar colour as the stone chippings otherwise the underlying hardcore will still be visible when gravel beds down.

Can anyone advise where you can get this blinding, and how it should be laid?

Blinding is simply finer crushed stone usually classed as "dust" which is available from most quarries that provide hardcore.

It is simply spread over the hardcore and compacted to the levels and falls required.
