Best small tractor for under €5000

Hi all,

I know it has been covered before but has anyone any thoughts on the best small ( under 100HP) tractor for around €5000, less the better though.
From other threads the MF 240 and Ford 4600 seem to be the ones to go for, But the 240's are fairly expensive and its hard to find a 4600 thats not a rust-bucket.
The tractor will only be used for light work, Turf, bit of topping, rolling etc, 2wd will do fine

Any thoughts on INternational 784 or Case/DB 1394(The father in law reckons case/DB are known for breaking crankshafts)
Might consider going across the water as the machinery looks to be minded a lot better over there

Going to England would be your best option. Haven't had a small ford for years but the 4600 is a good little yoke alright.

Have you a shed to store it in? If so MF 135 - 165 are a great tractor for that type of work. Ones with cabs are a bit claustrophobic inside I find so a nice one wth a roll bar would do the buisness. Easy to drive and operate. Light and easy to fi tdual wheels for the bog as well.
