Best rate for deposits

We have some money in our business current account that is not earning anything for us. I am wondering what are the best deals for leaving it on deposit, with easy access if needed.

Is there a minimum period for the deposit? I read that Halifax are offering 7% in the Sun Times yesterday, does anyone know any further details about this?
