Best mens trainers for walking on treadmill?

Hi all,

Can I ask what are a good pair of trainers/runners (not sure if they're the same thing) for brisk walking mainly on a treadmill? Also outside.

I get some huge blisters on my heels from the ones I use now, and this is just from walking about 45-60 mins per day. Ideally I'd like to climb to at least a light jog but I wouldn't be able to with the types of footwear I've been using.

Any ideas thanks!

It’s worth getting a good pair (80-120 euro) in my opinion. You could get fitted properly in elverys, arnotts, runworld (parnel st) amphibian king (bray). This way the trainers should fit properly and they will check where you need extra support to help avoid injuries (as well as blisters). Also never wear cotton socks (cotton+sweat= blisters) proper running walking socks are made of a 'wicking' material that takes moisture away from the skin helping to stop blisters.
Good luck.

I walk a lot, (outside though, not on a treadmill) I wear a lovely pair of walking shoes I got in clarkes. I find them much better that runners.
