Berlin Cheap Sleep

Does anyone know a very budget spot in Berlin? I'm having to spend a night in the city on the way to Malta and need a place to crash for a few hours. Cheap and clean is the order of the day!

Never saw a cleaner hostel (bathrooms, beds etc) than this and its cheap too.
Its also next to a central tram stop

Hi almo,
If you only have a stopover you might want to stay close to the airport ?
Which airport are you flying into ? Although public transport is great in Berlin the city is quite big and the two airports are at opposite ends.
I'm from Berlin so I might be able to help.
