Technical question here.
I need to be very clear on this because it will affect the dates that I'm available for work so any help would be appreciated.
I'm on maternity leave so I know I can't be made redundant until my leave ends.
For example, say my last day of "employment" by my company is 20th of February and I receive my notification of redundancy on the 23rd of February. Can I commence employment with a new employer on the 23rd of Feb or do I need to wait until the 24th?
I'm assuming that I cannot commence employment with another employer before I receive my notification of redundancy - despite the fact that I'm not working at present.
