Availability of Wooden Placards

I am wondering if anyone could help me with this. I am looking for a wooden display placqard (if thats what they are called). I have no idea where to buy one.

It would be something like what you might see on a wall in a golf clubhouse whereby the winners of past Captains Prize competitions are shown on it. The names are usually scribed into it.

Does anyone know what they are called firstly and how I might obtain one?

Look up sign-makers in your area. If there are clubs in your area that have them, you could ask who they source from.
