where is the esb meter, would it need to be removed as well, if so costs will go up.
As it stands it causes no health issue if not drilled to sanded or cracked with hammer or whatever
particulates from diesel cars much more dangerous
If concerned about the crack just put a bit of paint on it but not the whole pice so it is obvious what it is.
if u decide to get it removed, look at getting a new consumer unit with mcbs as opposed to fuses
