Is there a specific insurance a landlord can get to cover this ? I presume the block insurance is cover for building structure and if a tenant floods from the top floor to bottom they would not be covered and liable for the repairs and replace ? I checked the standard landlord insurance and it seems to cover contents and personal liability if someone is injured as a result of contents mishaps. No mention of damage to other properties though such as fire etc.
