Anyone been refused a mortgage with BOI due to frequent switching?

Hello, I'm on a variable rate with BOI. I have a BER of A2 so want to avail of the 3.65% green fixed 4 year rate. They won't give it to me because I'm not a new customer. So I'm thinking of switching to PTSB getting the 2% cash back and then switching back to BOI to get the green rate as new customer. Anyone know if I'll be blocked? Thanks

No heard of anyone being blocked, but you could get the same green rate from haven or aib anyway and they offer 2k toward switching fees also.
