Anybody ever monitored their fridge temperature?

The more stuff you have in a fridge, the more efficient it is (not less)
It's harder to cool air than solid stuff.

A fridge should never be more than half full. Otherwise you prevent air, and hence cooling ability, to circulate. An overfull fridge is a recipe for food-poisoning.
 
Believe me, there is no digital scales on the market that comes even close to this

I just re-read this: I should have said "aimed at the consumer market". If you're willing to spend enough (which manufacturers know consumers aren't), you can get a sensor to pretty much any acuracy you want.
