Any come back on second hand car purchase

Purchased second hand car two weeks ago, had check and service at dealers. Since then engine problems have arisen, garage thinks timing belts need changing. Have I any come back with dealer??

Depends if your were given a warrenty or if the car was sold as seen. It would be easier to help if we had a little more information.
