Anyone know if these changes apply to sites??

I'm not 100% sure if my understanding of this matter is correct? It would seem that sites will be exempt up to 125k, 7% up 1million and 9% there after.

I'm a bit confused about the sites questions too.

We're buying a residential farm (30 acres or so) with an old house on it that is quite habitable (if you're not fussy about interior decor!) and we're wondering what the stamp duty reforms will mean for us. (Our bank is treating the mortgage for the farm as basically a loan for building one house on a massive 30 acre site.)
Are there still separate stamp duty rules for residential properties and residential farms?

Stamp duty reforms apply only to residential property and a site is not residential property unless it is acquired as part of a transaction where there is also a building agreement.

However, the CGT and stamp duty exemption on the transfer of a site from a parent to a child has been amended to exempt sites worth up to €500k.
