Do I need separate licences/subscriptions for my PC and Laptop, using the same broadband router?

Why not use one of the many security tools that are free for personal use if applicable?

It depends on the software you are using and its license.

F-prot home user license covers upto 5 PCs for home use, while the commercial license is available in user "blocks"

I bought Norton 3 user 2007 edition on e-bay for €75.Two of the machines are working through the same broadband router.The third user is my fathers computer.Once its installed and activated on the first computer the clock starts running so the subscription ends at the same time for all three machines.
