think thats what you call them, they were out years ago before the PVC, the windows are the same materials. Anyways the lock broke on the door this week, and i have been trying to find a replacement, a friend of mine had a look at the door and said they dont make locks for them anymore the door needs replacing. The type of lock is "zone" of thats whats written on it anyways, has any one any idea if they might still be available and where i might get one

Just wondering have you had any luck with this. I recently lost the key to our front door. Like yours its an old aluminum door. Id need to get the barrel replaced etc.. Hoping it can be easily and cheaply done.

My mother had a problem with the lock on her aluminium door a few years ago. She had no problem having it replaced by a locksmith. I can't recall how much it cost, though. Try calling a few locksmiths and see what they say.
