Affordable Housing in different areas

Hi All,

I'm a first-time buyer, just starting out. I'm on the Affordable Housing list and am looking at affordable apartments.

Probably a stupid question, but here goes..

I signed up for Affordable Housing and specified that I am interested in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area. Does that now mean that I could not make an offer for an apartment in any other area under the same scheme?

Things have changed alot for ah over the past 2 years but back when I applied, you sent the main form into the council that you lived in for the past five years and then for an extra €50 you could submit a form that included you on the other councils list. You should check out affordablehome.ie if you haven't yet to see what is on offer.
