Looks like I can no longer buy us domiciled etfs using my etrade account, they have also blocked the dividend reinvestment that I was enrolled in for these etfs. I'm very annoyed over this , it's crazy that when I opened the account 2 decades ago there was a world of investment opportunities now these are being severely curtailed.
The only thing I was interested in investing in now as a result of this change is a sort of a European style Berkshire Hathaway, has anyone any suggestions, a sort of a holding company that owns lots of different companies but focused on Europe and rest of world not the US. I have been concentrating on investing in ex US etfs up to now ?
