I got a great quote from 4Women car insurance. A lot cheaper than all the others and includes NCD protection and roadside assistance, windscreen etc.
Is there a catch, as I can't work out who the insurer is?
They are the same broker who do 25plus.ie , McArdles from Coleraine.I used to be with them until my renewal last summer,when they didn't answer emails,answer the phone or respond to their own live chat for days,so I left them.
The catch is that it's not just for women, but women are lower risk than men but due to legal rulings you have to charge gender neutral premiums and their advertising is targeted at women only.. That sounds like a pretty dubious business model to me...

I'd take the much lower premium rather than worry about what bells and whistles were on my car insurance.
Car insurance is just a necessary evil to keep the Gardai off your back.
But isn't car insurance meant to cover you for all these little knocks? There's no guarantee that the most expensive car insurance gives you more cover than the least expensive car insurance.
