2 Year Fixed

From research it does not look as if there is a 2 year fixed mortgage rate (new customer) on offer from any Irish institution under 5%. Does somebody know differently?

Also about to draw down €170k re payment of site cost for new build, has anyone in a simliar position gone for a mortgage other than fixed?

i got 2 yr fixed from BOI at 4.89%

Cheers but they pulled those rates on friday, now gone up to 5.95%.

From what i see First Active is most competitve with 5.3%

Halifax have 2 yr fix at 4.9% . First Active is 5.05 (these are actual rates not APR) Easier to compare fixed rates by using actual rates .

i got 4.79 fixed for 2yrs with BOI last september. pity thet is has been pulled now

Thanks for that. From what i know Halifax don't do self build mortgages.
Also, i rang First Active there 2 year Fixed rate is 5.2%
