Looking to get health insurance.
What do the basic packages cover? I had a quick look on VHI and see they have a couple of plans for €90+ a month. Would you still get to see consultants quicker than public? I know there would be a loading so it would be a bit more.
We can't afford expensive plans at the moment. Wife is on unpaid maternity. Maybe we'd look at moving up in a couple of years. At the moment would be looking to spend <€150 a month.
Might sign up to Hospital Saturday Fund too for day to day expenses. Would like both to be less than €150. Or maybe there would be no need for HSF if the Health Insurance covered the same.
