Out in the sticks, NBI have been layimg fiber. My brother and my dad have it, bro through Sky, dad through eir. No probs for either, I think. Close to a village Openeir have laid fiber, no probs for my MIL through Sky, BIL through eir.
Made a decision to stick with our 1% tracker as I think rates will come back down again, so thanks Mr McGrath :) Disagree with this measure, though.. BTW EBS wil be sending customers their 2022 statement (again!), so if you can't find it there is no need to call them.
My understanding is that revenue has first claim on the state, until that is sorted to their satisfaction, nothing should be distributed to the beneficiaries
Are you certain you have valid title for the unit? There was an issue where I live when someone thought they had "bought" a parking space from another unit owner. It was a cash deal, and the other apartment owner {"vendor") only had a licence to use the space..
Are you sure? I heard VM might use the Siro (Vodafone/ESB) network to provide broadband, I didn't hear there was a bilateral agreement (Vodafone over VM) as well
Do the beneficiaries have to apply for the PPS numbers themselves, or can the executor do it on their behalf. If the former, what can be done if a numpty won't apply?
Siro and Openeir don't do bespoke ftth provisioning to individual apartments from outside the development. They ask the OMC for permission to pull the fiber to service shafts, and then across to outside each apartment.
What part of Wexford Town are you in? I know openeir were doing their urban build there recently (it has just become available to my parents - out Newtown Road past the hospital)
Do you know if you are connecting to the Siro or Openeir fiber network? The installation engineers should have been able to tell you where the duct needs to be :(
