They actually didn't offer me lots of alternatives just travel or buy products but I take your point about replies, I am also entitled to express my view that to travel for 2 or 3 hours I find unacceptable. But I won't be posting again as to be honest it was only a post looking for advice about...
Only got that concession after complaining, not unreasonable to not want to travel in my opinion & don't want product - don't see why you have to comment like that? I'd appreciate it if you please don't bother commenting again.
Funny why some posters seen to think its unreasonable to have asked the question - bizarre in one case! And - it was a gift anyway in another! I've got them to extend the expiry date until December so I'll see if it reopens. But certainly will tell family not to spend money on this company again
I don't know when I'd be in Dublin or Limerick & I certainly wouldn't be bothered making a special trip. I'm checking out what rights I have & see how I get on
Hope this is in the right forum.
I received a present of a gift voucher last Xmas for a spa treatment from a premises in Cork. This premises closed down, very suddenly for "refurbishment" in February, there was no notification I only found out in May when I tried to ring & make an appointment...
Anyone heard of this system? I think I have the right name, I can't find any info on it. Also can you watch sports on the Mobdro app on iPad? Not very savvy about these things so bear with me - any advice welcome
How could we find out what they paid? We're not in arrears & did pay €10,000 off an interest only loan we have with them last year, but if I thought they would accept less than the full amount - still 10 years to go - I'd do it.
Camper van is great, also visited in 2012, don't miss Great Barrier Reef try & get a trip that includes Whitehaven beach it's so beautiful - so jealous! You'll have a great time
I check out the deals too, have bought a couple on Groupon & other deal sites & generally been pleased. Of course what do they say -if a deal looks to good to be true then it probably is! Nice to see the comments though.
Groupon are offering Scholl Fungal nail treatment at the bargain price of €15.99 & saying the actual cost is €49.90, but Boots have the same item on sale for €29.99 - misleading or am I missing something?

Ended up booking with lowcost holidays to hotel in Alvor for Sept. Aer Lingus flights (better times than Ryan air) B & B in hotel €1007 for the week for the 2 of us - including transfers & suitcase. Was pleased with it. No insurance as we have annual holiday insurance.
I must say I have got good offers, last Nov got 2 return + 1 suitcase (never mastered travelling light) for €260 to Lanzerote. Don't see anything close at the moment. Are they getting around legislation by quoting 'flight' prices without the fees etc? I didn't think that was allowed anymore...
Sunny - Many thanks for the information I'll pass it on to them -it's worth a try. It was hard enough saying goodbye to them once without having to do it all again today! But at least we had one more night with them.
Son's flight to London at 4.00 pm cancelled yesterday due to "technical difficulties" plane from London didn't leave so no plane available in Cork. They had onward flights to Dubai & Sydney. They queued up & were told they could probably get the 9.30 pm flight to London but that their follow...
