Just a general question.
Let's say a bank takes a defaulter to court and gets a possession order for a house that has one or more judgement mortgages registered against it.
The bank will take possession and will try to sell it. What happens to the judgement mortgages that are on the house...
If a bank repossesses a house from a person who has not paid the household charge or LPT on it, who is liable for the tax? The bank who has now got possession or the former owner?
Posting this on behalf of my father in law who is not computer savy.
My father in law has 19 years paid in the UK and is entitled to £76 a week from the UK state pension when he is 65 next march.
He moved to Ireland some 15 years ago and did a small bit of work and then he was put on...
My UB debit card expires at the end of this month. How long before the end of the month do they send out the new cards? I am off on holidays on the 24th and would need new cards by then.
Is there any way to hurry them up?
My father never received a letter and asked me to do a return online for him. He wants to pay cash so I advised him to go to the PO on Tuesday and pay.
I assume he can pay if he quotes his PPSN at the PO?
If someone defers their property tax due to being on social welfare etc and then later the house is repossessed does the tax stay on the property, i.e. are the bank then stuck with paying it?
I has a quick question.

Is this €100 an average amount per week or is each week viewed separately? Say if the dependant has very irregular work...
A general question of behalf of my parents who are not computer literate.
My dad is in receipt of DA at the max rate of 312.80 for him and my mother. My mother has just realised that she has a possible pension due from the UK as she is over 60.
My question is can she receive this pension...
Is there any way to check the marital status of a person?
Is there any way to verify what they tell you? If someone claims to be unmarried and they really are, is there a way to prove it?
Are bank statements where the transactions have been censored acceptable for proof of address proposes? This is for a local authority and they don't need to know my financial situation.
Would it be a big issue if it was revealed that a bank did not obtain the necessary ID and address requirements before issuing a credit card to a customer?
