Just in case it's relevant, this is an unusual church in that it is run by Opus Dei.

South Dublin is a large place. Many suburban parishes have week day masses.Hi
Can Anyone recommend a morning weekday mass in south Dublin ?
Preferably well attended and friendly priest.
Thanks
Thanks . I was hoping for more first hand experience but I guess here its the god of mammon !
You're not the first...I think of Purple more as an altar boy.

The priests became overly friendly, and that’s part of the reason why it’s harder to find a well-attended mass these days. Can Anyone recommend a morning weekday mass in south Dublin ?

Either am I but it is what it is.I'm not sure it was meant as a compliment.
The last time I was at Mass they were alter boys... but that wasn't today or yesterday. Are they not Altar Servers nowadays?
If that's a euphemism then I agree with you.The priests became overly friendly, and that’s part of the reason why it’s harder to find a well-attended mass these days.
Weekday Masses were never ever well attended, even when I was a child. Neither for that matter were day time cinemas. People have to work. The priests became overly friendly, and that’s part of the reason why it’s harder to find a well-attended mass these days.
Old people and housewives were the main participants when I was young.Weekday Masses were never ever well attended, even when I was a child. Neither for that matter were day time cinemas. People have to work.
It is a euphemism. Abusing children and almost destroying Irish society did for them. Good riddance. If that's a euphemism then I agree with you.
In my case it was a lack of belief in the supernatural stemming from the respect for logic and critical thinking that my father gave me.
