Zoom interview in car, help!

Hi all, my interview was changed to Zoom and I'm at work. I have nowhere private at work to do an interview so I will have to do it in my car. I have no phone holder, how do i set up the phone? Any advice please as its today!! Many thanks

Tape it to the steering wheel?

If you're near a retail park, Halfords and some others have windscreen- or dash-mountable phone holders. The last one I bought was in a Tesco extra.

Make sure to lock the door as soon as you sit into your car in case any friendly colleagues decide to come over and have a chat thinking that you are just on lunch

I think I would use sellotape for better adhesion in that case, wrap it around the steering wheel a few times!

Yes if it occludes the screen.

Also be aware of the volume; if you are not careful you can be clearly heard outside the car.

I've twice in recent weeks had to tell people that their entire conversation could be heard across the car park.

It wouldn't impact them as long as you didn't cover the camera lens. Might impact you slightly but shouldn't be too bad.
