XBox wireless - Options ?

I have removed my Eircom line and now have a wireless 10mb modem connection. My son wants to be able to use the Xbox Gold member status he had previously and has been advised that we need to purchase a wireless Xbox modem that costs circa €80-100. I may not have the correct terminology so bear with me please. Are there any other options other than having to do this ? The PC has a wireless connection also

I connect my Wii and PS3 using the router I use for my laptop for wireless broadband.

Does the modem that your broadband provider gives have an ethernet (network) port ?
