Can anyone help me, x-box with 3 red lights on it, however when I google this loads of DVD's books available to buy to solve it??????, anyone had this and know what I should do x-box just out of warranty (typical!!!)
i've heard of this..its called the ring of fire and is meant to be pretty common...my husband is always on the xbox and dreads the day his gets this...as far as i know you can call their customer helpline and they will will say send it back to microsoft to get fixed..not sure if you have to pay and don't think those books will help you at all
Don't think it's called the ring of fire, it's usually called the red ring of death "RRoD", Microsoft have admitted there's a problem and have agreed to fix it outside of the normal warranty.

i have red rings of doom lights on my xbox too, it's a long time out of warranty, told repair may take four weeks to be returned to me. does anyone know where i might get xbox repaired quicker than this? i live in kilkenny area.
