Wrong amount taken with Laser card transaction

Yesterday I was checking my bank statement online and I noticed that a laser card purchase which was for a €8 book is down as €38. Unfortunately I don't have the laser card receipt.

Do I contact my bank (AIB) or the retailer? And is there any point doing so without the receipt?
 

Have you lost both the shop and laser receipt? IMHO it would be best to contact the bank first and see what they have to say.
 
I thought there had been a mistake with a transaction of mine, but remembered just in time that I had got cashback.
