has anyone ever used worms to improve drainage in a lawn

i knows its bad weather anyhow but the lawn is very bad these days,, just not drying out now even when its dry for a few days?

can worms be bought in large qtys?

You could probably create your own wormery and 'grow' them like some fishermen do. I am not sure how but I am sure its not too difficult. Google it.

Sounds like a good idea for drainage though.

I'm not sure how well worms will work at improving drainage when it's as wet as it has been recently. They'll all be coming up to the surface to avoid drowning.
