I am travelling to Hong Kong later this year. Both myself and my wife are in our 70's. We have European travel Insurance at the moment but not worldwide Insurance.
I am looking to get a one off trip Insurance to cover this.
Looking for advice on the following. Shopping around for insurance I am being asked to disclose any medical issues that we might have had in the past two years....
Do I have to state that I am on Cholesterol lowering medication, that I got eye drops for an infection in my eye, that I had a fall and injured my wrist?
If I disclose these, will my premium increase and if I don't disclose these can they refuse to pay out on any claim......even if my claim is unrelated to any of the above. For example an emergency appendicitis?
I am a Laya customer. I am not being asked these questions, presumably they already know about my health issues. Should I just take the travel insurance out with them?

- In the last two years, taken any prescribed medication or received medical treatment or advice at a hospital, clinic, GP surgery or via remote consultation.
