Hi

Am starting a new job that may allow some home working.
If the company were willing to set me up at home what would be required...ie would it be a lot of hassle for them ?

I would need a phone line (would be calling overseas a lot)...or perhaps a mobile would do ? or I could give itimised phone bills ?
Would also need access to the company database

Would this cost them a lot in terms of time and money to set me up ?
Thanks a mill

Get broadband in. then get on to your IT section and ask about setting up a VPN to your company network. I could list 20 things theyed have to do for them to set it up for you but whether it would be a hassle for them is up to them to say so ask them instead.
Once you get BB in, try and use skype or babble for telephony making it easy to separate the bills and less hassle then getting another line in.
Ask the company to pay for the BB.

Thanks for that car...will put it to them and fingers crossed

Cheers
