Work related injury, GP must give more info about what I can/cant do. Non compliant?

Hi All,
Just looking for any advise with my situation.

I am told by my employer that I need to furnish them with a doctors letter stating what duties I can or cant do as I have had a work related injury. Also I was knocked down while walking on the path some time later and I am not fit to return to my original role.

My GP has given them two letters stating this but says I should be able for other duties and recommends that my work doctor should be best able to assess me for any roles that might fit.

My employer is saying that I (my GP) have not supplied them with enough information and insist that he must tell them what I can or cant do in more detail and not the work doctor?... And if I don't I will be terminated for being non compliant.

Its been two years since my injury and I have been working on projects (very successfully) since and I have a very good record.

Unfortunately there is no more project work for me and coincidently they are looking for voluntary redundancies and have tried their best to convince me to take it but it is worthless to me as I am not long in here and there are few jobs out there.

Thanks for listening
