I have an interview for a job in DIT next week and just heard from a previous employer that they contacted them looking for my work reference and want it this week. Is this normal? I thought you waited until after the interview???
I work in D.I.T and thats normal for them, the same thing happened when I applied for the job. They contacted the employer that I was working with, I had a few questions to answer to my then boss.
